The Details
We would be honored to have you join us for the weekend in one of our most favorite places. The wedding takes place inside the Chautauqua Institution, and all events are within a 5-minute walk from each other. A detailed order of events will be provided closer to the wedding day.
WELCOME PARTY ATTIRE: DRESSY CASUAL
Relaxed but polished. The venue has gravel outdoors, so practical footwear is recommended.
WEDDING ATTIRE: FORMAL
We encourage guests to dress for an elegant evening celebration. Dark suits and floor-length gowns are perfect. Feel free to lean into rich colors and elevated fabrics.

Join us for a relaxed evening by the water at 3 Taps to kick off the weekend. The space features both indoor and outdoor areas, including fire pits along the waterfront.
A casual buffet dinner will be served, followed by s’mores by the fire. Beer and wine will be available.
Attire: Dressy casual. Given the outdoor setting and gravel areas, comfortable shoes are recommended.

Following the ceremony, guests will make their way to the Athenaeum Hotel for cocktail hour and reception. The walk is approximately three blocks. Walking maps will be provided in advance and included in programs.
A golf cart shuttle will be available for elderly and mobility-assisted guests.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to walk three blocks to the Athenaeum Hotel for cocktail hour and reception. Walking maps will be provided in advance and included in programs.
A golf cart shuttle will be available for elderly and mobility-assisted guests.
An open bar and plated dinner will be served. The formal reception will conclude at 10:30 p.m., with the bar remaining open until midnight. Guests are welcome to respectfully enjoy the veranda and front lawn as late as they please.
